Within the last couple of months, I've interviewed for multiple Jobs which require different types of skills. All though the jobs were different and I presented different skills for all of them, the results were all the same. Not only did I get accepted for the job, but I also got a similar response from my employers. "I liked your professional tone and attitude". The sentence they all said to me. They also said, " your slight attitude of confidence and cockiness is also something that stood out to me". Both of those sentences stuck with me. I mean, I knew I wanted to look my best and keep the right attitude to leave a good impression, but how much did that really help? I wondered why Professionalism was such a big deal and even asked a few of my employers the same question. All of their answers brought me to the same conclusion, "Anyone can work but only a certain type of people can get the job done - (Nathan Comeaux)". This quote stood out to me as it really made me think that dressing nice and having a good attitude isn't the only important part of maintaining and succeeding with a job. Many things come with it that challenge you everyday like dicipline, attitude, flexabilibty and so much more. All of these traits separates a professional person from an average one.
